My experiece with reading

In my first semester in college, I thought that English is easy as in the secondary school..The first time I was given an assignement, I thought that i will be able to analyze the story in few minutes..Nevertheless, I went home,opened the short story The zebra Story Teller and read it..I couldn't feel sth more than confusion..
I tried several times to understand it with the help of the dictionary but that didn't work.. No I was thinking why it was so difficult although it was only one page and I had picked up all the difficult words... Suspect
Days passed after this difficult time reading a story and I realized that this was my first reading in English regardless of all things I read in the school...I found that reading is a skill need to be used usually in order to give the person the satisfaction and the purpose behind any written material...study study study
The more we read the more we understand each single word..

I was really poor

I really was poor    
To jump from being a poor to be a rich in a few days is something quite impossible but it can be. I was that person who was fortunate with a gifted teacher in my second term of my second year in college. I was given prose in its real meanings. I remembered the first time she gave me and my classmates a lecture. I feel as though I was hungry for a day and then given a big meal to eat. I swallowed bits of information with real enjoyment. During that time I was assured that people are different.

My 1st poem

Hope 
 With fear and anxiety I entered my college life
So anxious how to act,Whether as Hope is OR as others want
Spent hours of days
Days of weeks
Weeks of months,
Then I discoveredthat 
 I could changeThe Fear to Hope,
The woe to smile.
It's my hope in life ;my magic,
To change the wood to be my paper,
To help my foe to be my friend,
To act against my desires if Hope is impossible to be found.
Oh magic !No life could be within me, 
   If Hope isn't  found in the days of fear and despair.
